Toscano Gourmet Italian Market is located at 896 Fischer Blvd. Toms River, New Jersey. From the creators of Cranberry's Gourmet Shoppe a prestigious & renowned eclectic gourmet caterer in central New Jersey, now bring their talents to Toms River. Designer George Samuels created an atmosphere which makes you feel as if you are at a Tuscany market in Italy.
Thomas Scaramuzzo & Robert Weltner bring their years of culinary talent and customer service to Toscano. Tom has 20 years of food service expertise in off premises catering and gourmet foods. Providing catering for such events as election fundraiser for a past governor, to the opening of commercial office buildings in central Jersey. Daily corporate catering to companies like Merrill Lynch, General Electric, Rhodia, and Crate & Barrel to name a few. Along with theme birthday parties, picnics, private weddings and small cocktail parties. Tom's love of Italian cooking from his family recipes makes him passionate about his love of food. Bob a CIA graduate and the executive chef of Cranberry's for the past 10 years, brings his years of expertise and creativity to food preparation & catering. Bob has also worked at the prestigious Marco Island Marriott, the Fromagarie Restaurant in Rumson, Santino's and Summerwind Cafe.
Bob's inspiration for Italian cooking comes from many hours cooking with his grandmother and mom, making meatballs, Sunday gravy, escarole and beans, and homemade pastas.
Toscano prepares fresh daily, hot & cold entrees, salads, sandwiches and soups. Deli delights such as Panini's, sausage stuffed mushrooms, Tuscan pannsanilla salad, antipasto towers and much more. Toscano carries imported Parma prosicutto, assorted Italian cheeses, along with Boars Head brand deli meats. We roast our own turkey breasts and roast beef for our gourmet sandwiches. We have an antipasto bar, featuring roasted peppers, Sicilian olives, stuffed cherry peppers, marinated vegetables, and more. Fresh prepared daily such as Minestrone, Italian wedding soup, Pasta e Fagoli, Italian zucchini soup, and chicken oriechiette. A large variety of grocery items from imported pasta, marinated vegetables, imported anchovies, & olives.
